Bay Wealth Inc. has original ties from Digby, NS to Calgary, AB with advisors being from the local area and afar. From the ground up, year after year the firm has increased its client base and assets under management. The firm has now grown to cover all of NS, PEI, and AB, with offices in both downtown Halifax and St Margarets Bay.
Alex Frankland
BBA, CFP®
Certified Financial Planner
Alex is passionate about financial planning and investment management. The best days are when you know that you have relieved financial stress from someone’s life and really put them in a better position moving forward. It’s quite simple, let’s make your money do more, no matter how much you have.
He lives in Hammonds Plains with his wife, Anjelica, and their children Levi and Myles. His other passions include golfing, playing hockey, and coaching both hockey & baseball. Basically, anything that involves his two boys Levi & Myles.
Alex holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation and has close to 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. During his tenure 5 of those years were spent in a management role with Canada Life helping to advise and train new and upcoming advisors in all of Nova Scotia. In 2022 Alex was awarded the Community Builder Award from Canada Life for volunteer work within his community.
Alex has also volunteered and been a part of Futurpreneur, an organization that helps mentor new business owners in the Halifax area. He has helped them with business planning and offered personal and business guidance on how to start and succeed with a new business.
Paul Herron
CLU, Ch.F.C., Certified Financial Planner
Originally from Calgary, Paul moved to the east coast in 1983 where he currently resides with his wife Shelley and their 5 children. He's a lifelong hockey player, including playing 4 years with the Dalhousie University Men’s Hockey team and being named Captain in 1986. He also has a passion for squash & golf.
Paul has been in the business for 35 years. In June 1987, his career started as an advisor at London Life. He incorporated his own company, Herron Financial, in 2013. Paul received his CLU and Ch.F.C. in 1995, and CFP certification in 1997. He is a Life & Qualifying Member of MDRT, as well as a member of Advocis & CALU.
He works primarily with business owners and professionals in helping them craft their retirement income plans while remaining focused on his personal motto, “Spend your best money during your best years!” The key to this strategy is tax. Tax effective withdrawals in retirement are vital and enable you to put more money in your pocket while paying fewer taxes. His unique approach is to help business owners and incorporated professionals invest their corporate retained earnings in a 100% pure tax shelter (ITA sanctioned). Rudy Allen

Born and raised in Falmouth, Nova Scotia, Rudy currently resides in Sydney River, NS with his wife Paula, and toddler son Quinton. Rudy completed his Bachelor of Commerce Degree Co-Op Program from Dalhousie University with a focus on finance and marketing. Given his outgoing personality, working with people on a personal level and applying his passion for finance made financial advising a natural fit after graduation.
With nearly a decade of financial advising experience, Rudy has enjoyed building his clientele in the business owner, family, and dentist segments. Rudy understands that life is far from predictable in both fortunate and unfortunate ways. He helps bring these scenarios to the forefront of client meetings to make sure he and his clients are aware and prepared for whatever situations life may throw their way. When not helping the financial well-being of his clients, Rudy can be found spending time with his family exploring Cape Breton Island, golfing, or at the hockey rink.

Bay Wealth is thrilled to have Patricia joining us and share her knowledge from her 40 years of administrative experience in the insurance industry.
Patricia, who is originally from beautiful Parrsboro on the Bay of Fundy, is now a long-time Haligonian. She enjoys travel, gardening and quilting and has volunteered for several local organizations.
She values her relationships built with clients and advisors and does a fabulous job of supporting them. Patricia looks forward to working closely with Bay Wealth clients and their families.

Bryan's journey into finance began at St. Mary’s University, where he earned a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Finance. Driven by his innate desire to make a positive impact, Bryan transitioned seamlessly into the role of a Financial Advisor upon graduation. Now, with over 9 years of industry experience, Bryan specializes in crafting tax strategies and financial plans tailored to his clients’ unique aspirations and values. His mission is to offer clarity, instill confidence, and foster peace of mind as clients navigate the realm of wealth management.
